SUBJECT: Notice to Students of Federation Scholarship

Please announce the following to your students:

It is now time to apply for the Federation Memorial Scholarship awards, if you:

1. Have earned at least thirty (30) college credits (not developmental or remedial courses) at Community College of Philadelphia as of January 1, 2007.

2. Attained a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.5 as of January 1, 2007.

3. Plan to continue your education at CCP or elsewhere in the 2007-2008 academic year.

If you meet the above criteria, you may be eligible to receive a one-time award of $500.00 or more.

Applications are available in the Faculty and Staff Federation Office (BR-63), Academic Advising (W1-1), Student Activities (S1-19), the Career/Transfer Resource Center (W2-3), and the Library Information Desk. If you are at an off-campus site or one of the regional centers, call the Federation office at (215) 751-8600 to have an application mailed to you.

The deadline for returning completed applications to the union office (BR-63) is no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2007.
